LXQⅡ type Resonance Suppression Apparatus      

  1. Description
    In the 6~35kV neutral non-grounded power distribution systems, When the system capacitance to ground is small, the magnetic voltage transformer (VT) can be easily saturated by some operations or system ground fault disappearance. In this case, the magnetic resonance can happen. The VTs or their fuses can be destroyed by the high current through the VTs under resonance. Besides, the system capacitance to ground always discharges through the VTs after the system ground fault disappears. The VTs or their fuses may be destroyed by the discharge current which can be several amperes in half cycle of system frequency.

  LXQⅡ type resonance suppression apparatus is a nonlinear resistor which is connected between the neutral of the magnetic VTs and ground of power system. It can impede the magnetic resonance and limit the current through the VT to protect the VT and the fuse of VT.

    2.Features

       ① Special structure for good heat dissipation.

  ② LXQⅡ type can withstand 500mA(RMS)at least 10 minutes thanks to the high quality materials and manufacturing process.

  ③ LXQⅡ normal-type is for the standard insulation of the neutral of VTs. LXQⅡ D-type is for the low insulation of the neutral of VTs, which can limit the voltage across two ends of the apparatus to protect the insulation of the neutral.

  ④ The mini-type can be used in the compact space.

       ⑤ A.C. electrical parameters show the actual operation condition.
